Pre-Treatment Preparation
Avoid 48–72 hours prior:
- Motrin, NSAIDs, and alcohol
- Blood-thinning supplements (Fish oil, Vitamin E, Garlic, etc.)
Avoid 7 days prior:
- Retinoids, exfoliants, hydroquinone, or products with acids
- Waxing, shaving, electrolysis, or laser treatments
Additional Notes:
- Arrive with clean, product-free skin
- Notify your provider if you have a history of cold sores
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding are contraindications
- Treatments may be delayed if you have had recent infections.
Post-Treatment Care
- Avoid direct sunlight for at least two weeks and use SPF 30+ daily.
- Avoid exfoliants, acids, and retinoids for 1–2 weeks
- Keep skin moisturized and hydrated
- Avoid strenuous exercise or sweating for 24 hours
- Do not pick or scratch peeling skin
